Digital Inclusion Gathering - Western Chicago Suburbs

  • North Riverside Public Library 2400 Des Plaines Avenue North Riverside, IL, 60546 United States (map)

This event is all about bridging the digital divide and ensuring everyone has access to technology and information.

More specifically: $23.7 million (!) in Digital Equity Act funding is coming to Illinois in 2024. Join us for this discussion among local libraries, government representatives, community-based organizations, and engaged citizens to learn about this opportunity, meet others involved in closing the digital divide, and help shape programs in your community.

Who should attend this event? Anyone invested in equity and access to opportunity in West Cook County! We would love to include at the table:

  • Libraries

  • Social services organizations

  • Community health initiatives

  • Affordable housing

  • Disability advocacy groups

  • Veterans' services organizations

  • Adult education and workforce development

  • Civic engagement & media literacy programs

  • School districts & youth programs
