Wright to Learn is a strategic consultancy and learning facilitator focused on bringing equity into digital learning, and learning into digital equity.
Our Design Principles
Equity.
We believe in learning as a force for liberation. We recognize the ways in which systems and institutions serve some while harming others, and we commit to actively countering those dynamics wherever possible.
Experience.
We believe that each learner is the expert in their own lived experiences and learning needs. We design for learners to gain hands-on authentic practice, to safely explore and make mistakes that push them forward.
Storytelling.
We believe in the power of narrative, both individual and collective. We empower learners to tell new stories about themselves and their abilities, and to construct meaning collaboratively with others.
Community.
We believe that every individual is part of a larger whole. We call in learners to recognize themselves and their peers as sources of shared knowledge, to actively support one another in their collective effort.
Xandi Wright, an innovative educator and the founder of Wright to Learn, started their journey in the classroom before diving into the world of online learning in the early 2010s—back when teaching via webcam was still an emerging trend. Their passion for digital education grew through work with public libraries and online graduate programs, where they saw firsthand the challenges of the digital divide.
Fast forward to today, and Xandi is a go-to learning strategist at a top online education company. Through Wright to Learn, they now bring those same cutting-edge insights to nonprofits, public agencies, and individual learners, helping to bridge the gap and make digital learning accessible for all.
